After some tech difficulties we're back. It's never too late to thank people - especially those who came out to the "House the Vote/Keep Hope Alive" event in Battery Park last month and for making it a huge success! Just wanna praise ya: The Melting Pot NYC, Music for America, The NYC Parks Commission, LIFEbeat, Red Bull, ekcONet inc, Louie Vega and Anané, Billboard Magazine, Kevin Hedge, Kenny Bobien, Joi Cardwell, Aaron Ross, Mendez Audio, and everyone who attended for their full-on support!

On that note, we have some special announcements this month, HOT new releases, and events to report so hang on to your headphones and read on...

KEEP HOPE ALIVE
Comes to a music store near you...
BLAZE presents Underground Dance Artists United for LIFE (A LIFEbeat benefit compilation) hit music retailers earlier this month and got picked by XLR8R Magazine as one of the Best Albums of 2004...The reviews are in!

Time Out NY - "The smooth, lush and heartfelt house-music collection is attributed to "Blaze presents Underground Dance Artists United for Life," and if that credit sounds a bit clunky, there's a good reason. The LP features vocal contributions from a huge chunk of the soulful-house elite, including Ultra Naté, Byron Stingily, Joi Cardwell, Kenny Bobien, Arnold Jarvis and Barbara Tucker-and that's just for starters...." Bruce Tantum, Clubs Editor

Billboard - "...a who's who of the soulful house community gathered to lift their voices for a good cause...Spearheaded by recording duo Blaze (Kevin Hedge and Josh Milan), the featured singers... came together in a "We Are The World"-type effort" Michael Paoletta, Dance Music Editor

Indamixwordwide.com - "We at IDMW.com deeply felt this is our will to come up with this page as the opener to our site. Not only because it's our pleasure, but also our absolute duty to  bring our humble contribution while giving the maximum amount of exposure to this project dedicated to raise money against AIDS."
